EU: Clusters go International

EU funds collaboration between European and international clusters under the "Cluster Go International". The main objective of this action is to intensify cluster and business network collaboration across borders and also across sectorial boundaries and to support the establishment of European Strategic Cluster Partnerships to lead international cluster cooperation in fields of strategic interest towards third countries beyond Europe. UNIDO - United Nations Industrial Development Organisation

Clusters have become key to UNIDO. Clusters and business networks have become keywords in the policy debate in industrialized and developing countries. They are regarded as tools to promote poverty reduction and the development of competitive industries. However, several bottlenecks may hamper their performance. EU-Japan Collaboration

The EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation is running a helpdesk service for the benefit of European and Japanese clusters, to help them identify potential cooperation partners in the reciprocal regions. See more here.  

The Next Society - inter-cluster collaboration between MED Clusters & EU

The Next Society encourage inter-cluster collaboration between Algerian, Egyptian, Jordanian, Lebanese, Moroccan, Palestinian, Tunisian and European clusters through mentoring, benchmarking, need diagnosis, international development missions and matchmaking at #Techdays. Read more here.  

ENRICH - Innovation Centres and hubs in Brazil, China & USA

ENRICH is a global network of centres and hubs that promotes the internationalisation of European science, technology and innovation. Promoted by the European Commission through Horizon 2020, the ENRICH network currently offers services to connect European research, technology, business and cluster organisations with three global frontrunner innovation markets: Brazil, China and the US. Low Carbon and Circular Economy Business Action in the Americas

This is a programme funded by the European Union that aims to promote EU clean technologies in four targeted Latin American markets: Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Colombia. EU participants will have access to tailored, sector-specific information in these four markets. Furthermore, they will be given the opportunity to participate in matchmaking events and connect with pre-selected business counterparts. Read more here.

The Enterprise Europe Network helps clusters innovate and grow on an international scale. It is the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with international ambitions. The Network is active in more than 60 countries worldwide. Opportunities coming up for Nordic clusters and stakeholders

Nordic Innovation, an organisation under the Nordic Council of Ministers, aims to make the Nordics a pioneering region for sustainable growth and works to promote entrepreneurship, innovation and competitiveness in Nordic business. Nordic Innovation will in the period 2021-24 drive forward eight new initiatives aimed to help the economy recover in a greener direction in the wake of COVID-19 and to support the vision of making the Nordic region the most integrated and sustainable region in the world by 2030.
